After a second full year of service, the ombuds office recorded a 29% increase in the number of students seen – from 93 in 2008/09 to 131 in 2009/10. From outcome monitoring, 70% of the students’ concerns were resolved as compared to 56% the previous year. A notable trend was the number of students referred by previously seen students – from 21% to 35%.

I am pleased to announce the addition of the following new staff to Innovation and Skills Development.   

Michael Cameron has accepted the position as the Director of the Greenstone and Northshore Campuses.   Michael was a program Manager at Red River College and provided direction and academic leadership for distance learning.  He led the development in converting 9 trades of apprenticeship to alternate delivery for Apprenticeship Manitoba and Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission.

Monday to Thursday 8am - 9pm

Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Saturday 1pm – 4pm

Sunday 2pm- 8pm

*Weekend hours Sept.25 – Dec.12; Jan.22 – Apr.17

*The Library is closed on all statutory holidays and long weekends

*1st Floor open to 11pm daily
